Harpeth Hills Children's Ministry

 

What We Offer

The Children's Ministry at Harpeth Hills is on the move.  We offer exciting Bible classes for infants and children through sixth grade.  Our curriculum is written "in house" and offers many innovative teaching tools. 

The infant and toddler program is based on songs and hands-on manipulatives to introduce Jesus to our youngest participants. 

Children ages 3 through kindergarten/pre-first are introduced to the major stories of the Old and New Testament through our curriculum entitled "God is our Hero."  These stories are taught sequentially as one continuous story using a variety of story telling techniques.  Application lessons, games and crafts are used to round out the program. 

Our 1st through 4th grade curriculum progresses in detail through the Bible three times.  Materials like "Walk Through the Bible" focus on Bible book themes.  Our 5th though 6th grade program is still under construction. 

Wednesday night offerings include a leadership program for boy and our girls focus on Christ-like behavior.  They also experience a season of service to our community and our church family.
