Jason and Jennifer have been youth ministers at Harpeth Hills since the fall of 1997. As a husband/wife team, they love helping teenagers experience God in their daily lives. Both graduated from Lipscomb University. They have 3 children.
Ayesha Nasmyth joined the staff in July 2008 as the new youth ministry assistant. She has been working with teens for many years. She graduated from Vanderbilt University with a degree in Applied Child Studies/Development.
The HHYG (Harpeth Hills Youth Group) is made up of a dynamic group of teenagers, committed to passionately worshipping our Lord both in praise and action. From community service projects and overseas missions to an everyday care and concern for those around them, the mission and vision of the Harpeth Hills youth ministry extends far beyond the walls of a church building or youth room.
"HHYG changed my life. I didn't understand my family's move to Nashville until God gave the group of people I had been needing, my family at HHYG. The bonds I made through HHYG have continually grown, developed, and amazed me, showing just how great our God is. I've never felt more welcome, encouraged, or alive in my faith. HHYG is more than a youth group, its a family." - Katie Price
"HHYG has been an incredible blessing to me! It is my support system and where i find people to hold me accountable. When you walk in the room you feel the warmth that everyone gives! It is a very special place to everyone and I am so blessed to have a place like this!" - Caroline Solomon
" HHYG is not a room but a family. A group to hang out, pray, laugh, confide, worship freely, and enjoy life with. A place where boys enter, but leave as men of God.... and I guess girls go through a change, but I wouldn't really know much about that. HHYG doesn't just last from 7th-12th grade, but creates a lasting family for many years to come,... because we are FAMILY and FAMILY STICKS TOGETHER." - Jeff Musick
